Paintwork is in fantastic condition all over and the stunning Sparkling silver paintwork still has the factor shine to it. It has all the original panels and being a Grade 4, it has no repair history. It is rare to find an original straight example such as this.
Interior is outstanding, completely stock (bar the stereo Nismo mats and cluster), it retains the original factory steering wheel/gear knob and gaiters not to mention the next to new Nismo GTR mats. There is no wear or tear to the carpets, dash or trims, condition is hard to believe for a 20 year old car.
When you pop the bonnet, you will be astonished just how clean the engine bay is, it still has the factory bar-coded stickers on the engine loom/harnesses; these normally fall off or are damaged with heat so really goes to show the high level of this R34.
It’s not just exceptionally clean on top, underneath is also in fantastic original condition. Another point to note is just how clean the strut tops, rear arches and spare wheel area are, those that are familiar with GTR’s will know this usually is a problem area.
As you would expect from a GTR of this standard it drives absolutely beautifully, oil pressure is healthy 6 bar cold start and 2.5bar hot idle. The iconic Rb26 Engine pulls boisterously throughout the rev range without any hesitation. Gearbox is nice and fluent with no crunches.
Sourcing examples like this is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Overall if you are after a truly cherished example to enjoy yourself, to be part of a collection or as an investment look no further.
The V·Spec II has increased stiffness in the suspension and had larger rear brake rotors. It also comes equipped with a carbon fibre bonnet equipped with a NACA duct, which is lighter than the aluminium that all other GT-R bonnets are made from. Also different on the V·Spec II was an iridium centre console and aluminium pedals. The seats were upholstered with black cloth rather than the gray cloth used on previous R34 GT-R models, and the amber turn lenses were replaced with white versions. A total of 1,855 V-Spec II were built 348 in WV2 Sparkling Silver.
