Introducing The Hulk — a no-compromise, full-blown Time Attack Evo with serious motorsport credentials and a spec list that reads like the ultimate tuning fantasy. Built by UK/Cyprus-based racer Pani Pastou and his team at LCE Performance, this is the very machine that claimed the 2016 UK Time Attack Pro Class Championship, along with multiple outright wins, lap records and even “Best Presented Team” honours. But the story starts earlier than that...

 

The Origin: Cyber-Evo Bloodlines

In late 2013, Pani sourced a unicorn: the Varis Asso Cyber Evo, a Japanese-built Time Attack legend and former 7-time lap record holder at Tsukuba — the holy ground of Time Attack. With a development head start few could dream of, the car was shipped to Cyprus to begin its next chapter.

 

Already a proven force with back-to-back Cyprus Time Attack championships in his Evo 8 “Black Panther,” Pani had his sights set on a third title — and the Cyber Evo delivered. Despite splitting time between the UK and Cyprus, the team won 4 of the 5 rounds in the 2014 season, losing only one due to a gearbox failure. Mission accomplished.

But Pani wasn't done.

 

The Rebirth: Built to Conquer the UK

With eyes set on the UK Time Attack Pro Class, a total nut-and-bolt rebuild began. Over 12 months, the Evo was transformed into a fire-breathing monster. Highlights include:

 

· Engine: Cyber Evo/Norris-built 2.0L with a Garrett GTX4088, Magnus inlet, FullRace exhaust manifold, dry sump system, custom 2000cc injectors.

· Drivetrain: Samsonas 5-speed sequential, Tilton triple-plate carbon clutch, Geartronics paddle shift, carbon prop shaft.

· Electronics: Custom loom by Georgios Pogiatzi, full Motec M800 management.

· Suspension: Custom setup by BIGEM Suspensions, RaceFab subframe and arms.

· Brakes: Alcon 6-pot/4-pot combo with massive 365mm/343mm rotors.

· Differentials: Upgraded ATS units courtesy of Clark Motorsport.

· Aero: Original Varis widebody developed in a wind tunnel by Varis Japan.

 

And it worked. Debut win at Cadwell Park, lap records at Pembrey and Snetterton, and a championship title all in the first season. It was a dream run.

 

The Evolution of the Evo — Enter The Hulk

In true Time Attack spirit, the car was stripped again after its victorious UK campaign and rebuilt from the ground up for even greater performance.

 

Finished in a striking Magno Hell Green (borrowed from the AMG GTR), the car earned its nickname — The Hulk. But it’s not just about looks. Under the bonnet now lies a Norris Designs 2.4L stroker, paired with a Garrett GTX42 turbo and a twin-charging setup (yes, really). While the full spec remains classified, just know this: it’s very fast.

It’s currently producing a whopping 913bhp at the wheels. Pani said he’s driven some seriously fast cars in his time — but this Evo is on another level entirely!

 

· Cooling/Boost: Custom intercooler and charge pipe setup

· Fuel System: Custom swirl pot with 4x Bosch pumps

· Exhaust: One-off full system with diffuser-integrated flow

·  Aero V2: Remodelled carbon aero kit for maximum downforce and cooling

       

The result? Devastating performance — but with reliability and control at its core. The chassis has been finely tuned once again by BIGEM to suit the new power levels, and the car has been rebuilt to do what it does best: win.
