1999/1 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-Spec

Midori Seibi Demo Car | 35,682km | Grade 4.5B | 500-540PS

A very special example of the iconic BNR34 GT-R V-Spec, this 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R was built and owned by the legendary Midori Seibi tuning shop of Yokohama, Japan.

This car’s significance lies in its Midori Seibi provenance. It is not simply an R34 GT-R fitted with Midori parts, but a genuine Midori-built demo car, created to showcase the company’s engineering, parts catalogue and approach to building a complete, well-balanced GT-R.

Originally imported into the UK in 2015, the car has remained with the same owner ever since. This makes it a long-term UK-owned example rather than a fresh import, with a clear and consistent period of ownership since arriving in the country.

With just 35,682km from new, approximately 22,000 miles, this genuine Grade 4.5B example also comes with no accident history recorded.

Finding a genuine Midori Seibi demo car is exceptionally rare, particularly one based on a V-Spec R34 GT-R and still retaining such a strong period-correct specification.

The car has also recently been compression tested, showing a strong and even 190psi across all cylinders. It will also be supplied with a health check by Redline Tuning.

[Midori Seibi History]

Midori Seibi are a highly respected GT-R tuning company based in Yokohama, Japan, best known for building well-balanced street and circuit cars during the peak of Japan’s tuning era.

Their demo cars became instantly recognisable throughout the GT-R scene thanks to their signature white and green colour scheme, along with appearances at Japanese tuning events, magazines and circuit gatherings over the years.

Unlike many tuners who focused purely on power figures, Midori became known for building complete cars with equal attention given to engine response, handling, braking, cooling and reliability. Their GT-Rs remain highly regarded among enthusiasts worldwide today.

[Vehicle Overview]

This particular V-Spec was selected and developed by Midori Seibi as a street-focused demo car, built to represent the company’s philosophy and showcase its tuning capabilities.

The result is a carefully considered 500-540PS specification supported by extensive upgrades to the suspension, braking, cooling, fuel and electronics systems. Rather than being built purely around a headline power figure, this GT-R reflects Midori’s reputation for creating cars that feel complete, usable and properly engineered.

The vehicle was also independently inspected and test driven in Japan by the well-known Kazama Auto tuning shop, who commented positively on the car and its overall presentation compared with many R34s available at the time.

A rare opportunity to acquire a genuine Midori Seibi-built R34 GT-R V-Spec demo car, with long-term UK ownership, ultra-low mileage and an exceptional period-correct specification from one of Japan’s most respected GT-R specialists.
