Material Auto Factory Supra RZ-S

HJA are hugely excited to offer this truly unique Time attack (also street legal) Material auto factory/Tamon designs Toyota Supra RZ-S.



It has managed a staggering time of 57,586 seconds Tsukuba Circuit and 1'46,394 seconds at Fuji Speedway, those in the know will understand just how quick those times really are.


A Very well known car amongst the Time attack circles in Japan and has been featured in a number of articles including Web Option and Rev speed.


The recipe for on track domination began with the engine. Material SPL removed the stock engine to install an array of strengthened parts. Consisting of a specially prepared Crankshaft, HKS forged pistons and Carillo connecting rods, the oversized pistons uses increased displacement to push more power to spin the HKS T04Z turbo, the HKS snails exit into a Material spl custom titanium exhaust system.



The team at Material auto factory paid careful attention to the block and head processing by de burring and modifying the oil/ water galleries as well as porting and polishing the intake and exhaust ports to further improve air flow and overall capacity.


To further de stress the block they also blasted and smoothed any high spots which is often overlooked as it’s a very time consuming job. The crank shaft was fully balanced and treated to a mirror finish process. The oil pump was redesigned and strengthened to withstand continuous laps at the track.



Breathing in through a HPI intake, the HKS T04z blows into HKS intercooler piping and a HKS Type R front-mount intercooler. Sharing space in the nose with the twin HPI oil cooler kits, the HKS item keeps charge temps under control.




Not forgetting the drivetrain, the gearbox has been replaced with a brand new item by Material SPL. A new ORC Triple plate clutch and lightened flywheel was also installed along with an OS Super lock LSD.



In order to repeatedly and consistently stop this missile, Material SPL installed a set of Alcon 4 pot front brake callipers with Dixel 355mm rotors, stainless steel brake lines and a Cusco brake mater cylinder stopper.



As impressive as the Material spl-tuned JZA80 engine, drive train and braking setup is, the real jewel is Tamon designs GT1 Aero package designed Specifically for this car.



Not only providing massive amounts of much needed downforce, copious amounts of Carbon fibre have been used as part of the diet regiment.

Showing up all over the car- bonnet, front bumper, canards, front diffusers, dry carbon doors and complete rear hatch replacing the rear screen.




Tamon designs FRP front wings, side skirts and rear over fenders not forgetting the humongous chassis mounted GT500 LEXUS SC430 Dry Carbon GT Wing.




Offsetting the weight of the six-point roll cage, the carbon body parts combined with the lightweight Recaro bucket seat and stripped backseat all to help bring this Supra’s curb weight down to circa 1,354kg



The Aragosta coilovers provide the perfect dampening settings, set up using hours of trackside research and various different kg spring setups. Perfecting this setup has given the Supra balance and control under all conditions.



The Material Auto factory JZA80 is not your average tuned Supra, and Material.A.F is not your average tuner garage. Changes have been made to the engine, transmission, brakes, tires, body and interior, but every piece has been engineered and thought out to provide a distinct advantage. So it's no wonder that when you take the mighty Supra, and then add in Material Auto factory to the equation, you end up with success.
