HJA are excited to offer this exceptional 2016 Subaru WRX STI, a very low mileage, one-owner VAB showing just 3,874 km approx. 2,407 miles, built to a very serious specification by Mr Sugita of Super Autobacs Kyoto A PIT.

This is a properly built full-tune WRX STI, centred around a TOMEI 2.2L complete engine, HKS GTIII-RS turbo kit, HKS F-CON iS management, HKS fuel and cooling upgrades, EXEDY carbon twin-plate clutch, CUSCO drivetrain and chassis upgrades, ENDLESS Racing MONO brakes, VARIS full aero and a Voltex carbon GT wing.

[Built By Super Autobacs Kyoto A PIT]

This WRX STI was built by Mr Sugita of Super Autobacs Kyoto A PIT, one of Japan’s best-known performance tuning and parts centres.

The car has been fully customised from almost new, with less than 3,000 km covered since the full build. Importantly, the engine displacement and suspension arms are officially certified in Japan, which is a very useful detail on a car with this level of modification.

[TOMEI 2.2L Complete Engine & HKS GTIII-RS Turbo]

At the heart of the car is a TOMEI EJ20 2.2L complete engine, using an EJ22 stroker kit, PONCAM camshafts, oversized valves, uprated valve springs, titanium retainers, metal head gasket, head studs, main bolts and extensive cylinder head and block preparation.

The turbo setup consists of an HKS GTIII-RS turbine kit, CyberR BOXER exhaust manifold and HKS Super SQV IV Black Edition. Supporting parts include an HKS fuel upgrade kit, HKS high-capacity fuel pump, HKS injectors, HKS dry carbon suction kit, HKS Racing Suction, HKS sport catalyser and HKS Super Turbo muffler.

Cooling is handled by an HKS R-Type intercooler, HKS S-Type oil cooler, TPS Design aluminium radiator with heat-dissipation coating and a full SAMCO hose package.

[Drivetrain, Chassis & ENDLESS Brakes]

The drivetrain has been upgraded with an EXEDY Carbon-D twin-plate clutch, CUSCO Type RS rear LSD, CUSCO high-capacity differential cover and CUSCO reinforced rear differential mount.

Handling is taken care of by ENDLESS ZEAL Function A suspension, Hyperco perch set, CUSCO stabilisers, CUSCO rear arms, PROVA stabiliser links and SYMS stabiliser link offset kits.

The chassis is further supported by a CUSCO 5-seater 7-point roll cage, CUSCO lower arm bar, CUSCO tower bar, CUSCO power braces and SPOON rigid collars.

Braking is handled by ENDLESS Racing MONO 6-pot front callipers with 370mm front discs and ENDLESS Racing MONO 4-pot rear callipers with 332mm rear discs.

[VARIS Full Aero & Voltex Carbon GT Wing]

The exterior features a full VARIS aero package, including front bumper, extension lip, front fenders, side skirts, shrouds, cooling bonnet, rear bumper, carbon trunk, rear diffuser and side splitters.
