[HJA Presents: A Rare GT-R Track Edition Engineered by NISMO]

HJA are excited to offer this rare January 2015 Nissan GT-R Track Edition Engineered by NISMO, finished in QAB Pearl White and showing just 19,200 km / approx. 11,930 miles.

Presented with a strong auction grade of 4.5, this is a particularly desirable Japanese-market R35 variant. The Track Edition combines the familiar shape and usability of the standard GT-R with important chassis and suspension technology developed for the flagship GT-R NISMO.

This example is further enhanced by its factory dry-carbon rear spoiler, NISMO LMGT4 20-inch wheels, Recaro black/red combination leather seats and model-specific Track Edition details.

[Engineered by NISMO]

The Track Edition Engineered by NISMO was created to offer a more focused and responsive GT-R without adopting the full exterior treatment or 600PS engine specification of the GT-R NISMO.

Nissan describes it as combining the regular GT-R body shape with the suspension and increased body rigidity developed for the GT-R NISMO. Structural adhesive was used across selected body joints to improve rigidity and allow more precise chassis tuning.

The result is one of the more interesting factory R35 variants: sharper and more specialised than a normal GT-R, while retaining the standard car’s road usability and more understated appearance.

[NISMO Chassis and Suspension]

The Track Edition is fitted with model-specific Bilstein electronically controlled suspension, tuned to improve body control, grip and steering response.

The focus was not simply to make the car stiffer. NISMO developed the suspension to use its available travel more effectively, allowing the tyres to remain in contact with uneven surfaces and reducing the need for constant steering correction. This gives the car greater stability and confidence when driven quickly.

Its NISMO-developed body and suspension package are the main reason the Track Edition should not be viewed as simply a standard GT-R with different wheels and seats.

[VR38DETT Performance]

Power comes from Nissan’s hand-assembled 3.8L VR38DETT twin-turbocharged V6, driving all four wheels through the GR6 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Unlike the full GT-R NISMO, the Track Edition retains the standard-output VR38DETT engine. Its upgrades are primarily focused on chassis response, handling, braking and driver involvement rather than additional peak power.

The combination provides the acceleration and all-weather traction for which the R35 is known, together with the more focused character of its NISMO-developed chassis.

[Recaro Interior]

Inside, the Track Edition features dedicated Recaro seats finished in black and red combination leather, giving the cabin a more focused appearance while retaining everyday comfort.

Other model-specific details include the carbon-look analogue instrument surround and Track Edition emblem. The car also comes with its warranty book, owner’s manual and spare key.

A rare opportunity to secure a low-mileage, highly graded example of one of the more specialised factory R35 variants. The Track Edition Engineered by NISMO offers genuine NISMO chassis development, distinctive factory equipment and a level of rarity that separates it from a standard GT-R.

The car can be secured now with a 10% deposit and will be supplied fully UK on the road, prepared to the usual high HJA standard.
